13-year-old dies after shooting at Greenwell Springs apartment complex
BATON ROUGE - Sheriff's Deputies have confirmed a 13-year-old his died after a Friday night shooting at a Greenwell Springs Road apartment complex.
EBRSO officials say the shooting happened at the Mallard Crossing apartments in the 11300 block of Greenwell Springs Road.
Officials say the victim was shot in the head and was transported to the hospital in critical condition. An EBRSO spokesperson identified the victim as 13-year-old Zion Barthelemy.

EBRSO crime scene investigators are on scene.
Sources say it happened near building 7 in the apartment complex.
