NEW ORLEANS - A man reportedly seen nearly a month ago was found in "a severe stage of decomposition" in his home, according to the New Orleans Police Department.

WDSU said officers found the man Sunday afternoon in his home on Saint Charles Avenue. Coroners are working to ID the body and determine the cause of death.

No more information was released.
