Man convicted of murder; was 17-years-old at time of killing

BATON ROUGE - A man who was a teenager when he killed a 24-year-old two years ago will be sentenced for the crime in April.

Brandon Boyd was found guilty of second degree murder Friday. Boyd was arrested in March 2014 for the shooting death of Emanuelle Myles on La Margie Avenue.

Then, police said Boyd also shot a 19-year-old. Investigators said when he was arrested, Boyd fired into a crowd after a fight.
