ROSEDALE - The Iberville Parish Sheriff's Office arrested a man they say is behind a series of battery thefts in the Rosedale-area.

Deputies began investigating after receiving several reports batteries were being stolen off of tractors. They say their investigation led them to arrest Derek Gaudet, 42.

Gaudet is charged with felony theft, as well as 3 counts of misdemeanor theft.
