UPDATE: Police have arrested Demond Mack in the murder of Billy Harrington.

Mack was apprehended by the LSU Fugitive Task Force in the Baton Rouge area and booked on charges of second-degree murder and illegal use of a weapon.

BATON ROUGE - Police are searching for a suspect connected to a fatal shooting that occurred Monday night.

On December 3, emergency officials responded to reports of a shooting death on N. Sherwood Forest at an apartment complex off Stan Avenue.

Tuesday morning, the East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner's Office identified the victim as Billy Harrington, 44, who died from multiple gunshot wounds.

Police are now searching for the suspected shooter, Demond Mack. He's wanted for second-degree murder and illegal use of a weapon.
