Man accused of two home burglaries in one day
BATON ROUGE - A man is facing two burglary charges after East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Deputies say he broke into two homes in one day.
On Feb. 6 at 2:12 p.m., authorities were called to a home on Hackberry Drive for a burglary. According to the affidavit, the back door of the home and been kicked in and a television and money had been stolen. Detectives were able to get surveillance video which showed a vehicle fleeing the scene.
Later that day, authorities responded to another burglary on Pine Park Drive. Once again, the back door was kicked in, but nothing was reported stolen.
Wednesday, the suspect's car was located on Plaza American Drive. Detectives watched a man get in the driver side. The man was identified as Quindell Webb. A female also got into the car through the passenger side. She was later identified as Webb's girlfriend and the owner of the car.
While searching the car, detectives found a prescription bottle. It was learned that the bottle was stolen in a burglary on Jan. 24. In that case, the back door was also kicked in.

Webb was later arrested and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison in connection to these crimes.
