LSU clinches series over Vanderbilt with 3-2 victory

LSU defeats Vanderbilt 3-2 to clinch the series.

After falling behind 1-0 in the 1st, the Tigers coming up with 3 runs in the 2nd. Cole Freeman had an RBI double and Antoine Duplantis followed with a 2 RBI single.

Sophomore Ace Alex Lange pitching 6 1/3 innings, with 9 strikeouts and only 2 ER. Reliever Hunter Newman follows that up with 2 2/3 scoreless innings and six strikeouts.

LSU advances to 6-5 in SEC play, while Vanderbilt falls to 6-5. The Tigers will go for the sweep tomorrow at 2 p.m.
