     Starting pitcher Jared Poche leading the charge for the Tigers, pitching six complete innings with 8 strikeouts and allowing only two hits.

     The Tigers advance to 4-1, while the Hornets fall to 3-2. Game two is set for 2 p.m. Saturday.
