LIVINGSTON - The Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office has released the identity of the man killed in a Thursday afternoon shooting on Herman Simeon Road.  

Authorities say 44-year-old Darrell Herman Crane Jr. was shot to death around 1 p.m.

At this time, officials have not released information related to any possible suspects involved.

An investigation remains ongoing pending autopsy results, the Sheriff's Office says.
