BATON ROUGE - Many churches in the area have announced their closures for Sunday services.

Galilee Baptish Church

Catholic churches in the Diocese of Baton Rouge may be closed. Bishop Robert Muench issued a statement Saturday dispensing them from mass obligations and urging that people avoid dangerous areas. Only one church, St. Jean Vianney, has cancelled all masses.
