The Department of Interior on Friday released a report on oil and gas drilling on federal land that promotes an increase in leasing fees and consideration of climate change in leasing decisions.

According to CNN, the report seems to sidestep climate concerns and does not recommend a halt to new oil and gas leasing, which is a promise President Joe Biden campaigned on.
