BATON ROUGE - Humble pie must be served everywhere, since website RoadSnacks ranked Baton Rouge the 140th most snobby place in the United States.

Researchers analyzed data from 250 cities and ranked them based on income, median home price, the number of theaters and art galleries, education rates and number of Whole Food locations. Only cities with more than 100,000 people were counted.

Monroe, Alexandria and Lake Charles were not listed. But, Lafayette, Shreveport and New Orleans were. New Orleans was the snobbiest place in Louisiana, ranking at 68th. Shreveport was the least snobby. It ranked near the bottom at 202. Lafayette was positioned slightly behind Baton Rouge at 147.

The top ten cities in the U.S. were San Francisco, Berkeley, Pasadena, Scottsdale, Seattle, Irvine, Washington, D.C., Costa Mesa, Santa Clara and San Diego.
