4 men arrested for distributing child porn
BATON ROUGE – Investigators with the Attorney General’s Cyber Crime Unit announced Friday that four men were arrested for separate incidents for child pornography charges.
According to Attorney General Buddy Caldwell’s office, 30-year-old James Aucoin of Prairieville was arrested Friday on 100 counts of possessing pornography involving juveniles and one count of video voyeurism.
In an unrelated incident, 34-year-old Justin Landry, also of Prairieville, was charged with 15 counts of distributing child pornography involving juveniles.
Aucoin and Landry were both booked into the Ascension Parish Jail.
Investigators said a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children prompted the arrest of a 32-year-old man from Napoleonville. Authorities arrested that man, Brad Joseph Rivere, on nine counts of distributing pornography involving juveniles.
Caldwell’s office said additional charges are possible for Rivere pending further investigation.
In another unrelated incident, investigators charged 26-year-old Michael Timothy Buckel, of Metaire, on a single count each of possessing and distributing pornography involving juveniles. Buckel was booked into the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center.

According to Caldwell’s office, each suspect faces up to 20 years in prison for each count of pornography involving juveniles.
