DALLAS - Former LSU offensive lineman La’el Collins is sure to get more than a few looks as he’ll debut a new pair of pancake-themed football cleats for preseason warmups as football season draws near.

The Dallas Morning News reported that the Cowboys’ Collins gave his Instagram followers a glimpse of the custom kicks last week. While they aren’t NFL game approved, they are certainly something to look at as they come complete with dripping “syrup” and a pat of butter atop the Nike swoosh.

The cleats, dubbed “The Fullstack,” are just right for laying on the sort of pancake block action that Collins is now bringing to the National Football League.

The Dallas paper points out that while Collins would definitely get some publicity for wearing the cleats in a game, it might not be worth the several thousand dollar fine it would surely draw from Roger Goodell.

NFL season will get started in September.
