LIVINGSTON PARISH - Monday will mark the final day for Livingston Parish residents to place their August 2016 flood-related debris curbside for pickup.

Excluding the area of Denham Springs, which had its own pick-up day in July, residents will have until the end of the business day to rid their homes of any remaining litter.

Crews will be surveying and identifying all roads in the parish to verify pick-up locations. Anything placed on a curb after today will not be picked up by the parish and will fall to the responsibility of the property owner.

Exclusions to debris pickup include: reconstruction, new construction, commercial property debris, concrete, masonry, tires and vegetative debris.

To request debris pick up, contact the Livingston Parish Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness at 225-686-3066.
