BATON ROUGE - One person was shot at an apartment building Sunday night following an altercation between two men.

East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office said one man was physically attacked by another around 10:20 on August 8 at Abington Avenue.

Deputies said the victim shot the suspect once. He was taken to a hospital and is expected to recover.
