BATON ROUGE - "Don't think too much, just let it go."

That's the advice coach gave the wildcats sophomore quarterback Friday night,  and number 14 left it all on the field.

Central's Sam Kenerson racking up over 250 yards thru the air and on the ground with 4 scores, helping his Cats beat Live Oak 31-25.

Kenerson showing why his dual threat talents mean so much to this team.

"He's dynamic in the backfield and he can make people miss," says Central offensive coordinator Zack Morris, "He can run it and he can throw it a little bit too. So a lot of what we do is zone options and if he gets on the edge he can be real dangerous."

"It's one of our best strengths you could say, because a defense doesn't know when I'm going to throw it our just take off with it."

At just 15 years old, Sam is growing up fast on the field at Central, but it's the bond he has with his offesive coordinator that's bettering his game both on and off the field.

""I love the kid but I got on him pretty good yesterday. But we have the relationship where we can do that. Ever since he got here I've been grooming him to be that guy and take the reigns."

"I think I'm a pretty good leader. I can lead this offense. He motivates me a lot I didn't think I could throw but he put that into me. I think he helps a lot."

The Wildcats OC-QB combination hoping after two straight wins in district play, the two can help Central make a run in 4-5A.
