BATON ROUGE - With kickoff less than 22 hours away, hundreds of loyal Tiger fans were headed to Green Bay on Friday.

At Baton Rouge Metro Airport, around 500 passengers are boarding three charter flights that will fly straight into Milwaukee. Once they land, they'll caravan to Green Bay where the fun will really begin until they file into historic Lambeau Field for the Tigers season opener against Wisconsin.

The Tigers themselves boarded buses just before noon on Friday so they could make their own chartered flight out of BTR. They arrived early in the afternoon and have already thrown themselves into their pre-game routine ahead of a big non-conference opener.

News 2's prime time season preview special airs tonight at 7 p.m. An expanded News 2 at 10 will feature live reports from Green Bay. A pre-game special airs Saturday morning from Lambeau Field ahead of 2:30 p.m. kickoff.
