BATON ROUGE - Only a few dozen people were waiting in line for the doors to open for Black Friday.
That's because Black Friday now takes place Thanksgiving night for most stores.
Many of the same deals that happen Friday took place Thursday night, and the early birds didn't have to worry about stock.
"It started out very light this morning because the crowds last night were very large, long lines," Chrislyn Miller, Mall of Louisiana Marketing Manager, said.
Although people didn't have to wake up too early to catch today's deals, some people were still awake from last night.
The Mall of Louisiana management told News 2 they expect the biggest crowd Friday around noon.
