BATON ROUGE - Detectives with the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office are looking for an inmate who left his work release job yesterday evening.

Deputies said 24-year-old Damarkius Spears, a Department of Corrections inmate, was last seen by an 84 Lumber employee yesterday evening at his work release job at 8675 S. Choctaw Dr. He was wearing a black shirt, black pants and brown boots at the time.

According to EBRSO, any escaped inmate should be considered dangerous and not approached by residents.
