BATON ROUGE - There has been no change in the condition of injured sheriff's deputy Nick Tullier, his father, James, posted in a message on Facebook overnight.

"No better but no worse. So that's not a bad thing," he wrote. The message was shared to a public page set up to provide updates on Tullier's condition and allow people to share memories and emotional support. The page is titled 'Nick Tullier Strong.'

"This phenomenal medical staff is doing everything they can for Nick. He is still (extremely) critical."

James Tullier wrote messages of support and well wishes are coming from everywhere. He posted, "Thank you all from the bottom of our hears."

Deputy Nick Tullier, an East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's deputy, was shot three times - in the abdomen, shoulder and head - in an ambush on July 17th that took the lives of another sheriff's deputy and two Baton Rouge Police officers. Other lawmen were hurt and were released from the hospital in the days after the shooting.

Tullier has been on a ventilator since he had emergency surgery after being rushed to the hospital following the attack.

"Nick is still fighting for his life," the family posted in another message earlier, hoping for a miraculous recovery.

The family has discussed, briefly, that Nick Tullier has not reacted to family members.

"Nick never squeezed his mother's hand as that rumor is still out there. We pray in the days to come that the rumor will become a reality."

"All of the prayers and God's love have kept Nick here with us, as we wait for his miracle..."
