LAFAYETTE – Lafayette Parish deputies are searching for an inmate who was ‘improperly released’ Wednesday afternoon.

According to a KATC report, 29-year-old Joshua Simon was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans. He is described as being 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 155 pounds.

Simon was in custody on a warrant for non-payment of child support in Ouachita Parish.
