Definitely mild, likely gray, possibly all dry
The next several days may well feature a lot of cloud cover—but they’ll stay mainly dry and mild.
THE FORECAST:
Today and Tonight: Your Thanksgiving will show more clouds than sun, but we’ve certainly had colder holidays. Highs will top out in the middle 70s. Easterly winds will continue around 10mph. Just like Wednesday, a stray, light shower remains possible but would be insignificant. Overnight will be mostly cloudy and mild with a low in the low 60s.

Looking Ahead: Shoppers may “make it rain” on Friday but skies likely will not. Highs will climb into the middle 70s despite mostly cloudy skies. You might even chose to leave the jacket at home. The unseasonably warm temperatures will continue into the weekend with another mostly cloudy, mostly dry day setting up on Saturday. Not many Late November LSU or Southern games begin with temperatures in the upper 70s, but that will be the case this time around. On Sunday, clouds will thicken with a shower possible later in the day. Highs will keep in the 70s.
