BATON ROUGE - One of Darius Hampton's favorite accessories are a pair of Batman socks. He has good reason to feel like a superhero right about now.

His Walker Wildcats are off to a 5-0 start, and in their latest game against Assumption, he caught three touchdowns in a blowout.

Football is not his favorite, or his best sport. But it's what he's learned on the hardwood that's helping him to excel on the gridiron.
