Baton Rouge, LA - Randall Menard has all of the potential to be the Jags No. 1 target this season, but he's got to prove it here at fall camp.

The 6'3 senior missed camp and the first two games of 2016 because of a hamstring injury, but he says he's back 100% healthy this year.

Coming off a junior campaign of 350 yards receiving, grabbing just 4 touchdowns - he's got much bigger plans for his last season on the bluff.

"What motivates me, is Austin telling me he needs me. My goal this season is to go without dropping balls, 1000 yards receiving and doing whatever to help my team win."

"I'd like to see him be more consistent, we expect him to catch every ball so when he drops one it's like oh here we go again. But I'm looking for consistency, that means you have to be a senior, your focus has to be there," says Head Coach Dawson Odums.

"Concentration, I'm out here with no gloves my hands are sweaty, so it's more you have to concentrate on getting the ball before running. I am a stretch the field deep threat guy. Lenard tillery and Willie quinn were great but next man up," Menard added.

"That's what we are looking for out of the seniors, we have three receivers in that wide receiver corps. We are leaning on those guys to make plays. It helps to have a Randall go thru adversity. The only way out of it is if you challenge yourself, and I think he's doing that now it's about taking the next step in becoming a dominant receiver."

No matter if Menard or another wide receiver emerges as the top target on this team, the Jaguars know they have big numbers to replace and plan on doing it by committee.
