BATON ROUGE - Police said one teen was arrested and others are being sought for attacking a mail carrier in Baton Rouge Thursday.
Baton Rouge Police said it happened around 12:45 p.m. in the 6000 block of Linden. Officers said the mail carrier was on his rounds when several teens stepped in front of his vehicle, blocking him from being able to go anywhere.
Police said several of the juveniles started punching the postal worker and then stole his phone before running off. BRPD said the mail carrier did not need to go to the hospital for his injuries.
