ST. FRANCISVILLE - Officials in West Feliciana Parish lifted a boil advisory for parts of St. Francisville at around 3 p.m. Wednesday.

The affected area was along Highway 10 and Bains Road West to Alexander Creek.

The State Department of Health and Hospitals say they tested water samples from the area and found the water to be safe for consumption. The advisory was put into place after concerns emerged about the microbiological quality of the water supply in the area.

Anyone questions about the lifted advisory should be directed to the West Feliciana Parish Water District No. 13 at (225) 635-3864.
