BATON ROUGE - Agents with the Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control (ATC) cited another 14 strip clubs as the agency’s statewide undercover investigation dubbed “Operation Trick or Treat” continues. The strip clubs were issued citations for prostitution, lewd acts and drug activity.

Out of the cited clubs, one of them, Real Entertainers, is in Baton Rouge and another is Crazy Horse Cabaret in Port Allen. Both of the clubs were cited with one count of prostitution each.

The ATC says six of the businesses were issued emergency suspensions due to the threat to public safety. The following strip clubs were ordered to stop selling alcohol and tobacco products immediately:

-Shelly’s (Houma)
-Temptations (Sulphur)
-Club Vixen (Lake Charles)
-Club Cabaret (West Lake)
-Judy’s Lounge (Morgan City)
-Temptations (Morgan City)

ATC agents have been busy thanks to the operation as only weeks ago, nine clubs were cited in the French Quarter in New Orleans.

“ATC has two words for strip clubs across the state; straighten up,” said ATC Commissioner Troy Hebert. “It’s simple. If you allow drugs and prostitution, your alcohol permit will be in jeopardy.”

The full list of clubs cited during this sweep are as follows:

-Oasis Cabaret (Bossier City) — 1 ct. CDS (drugs)
-Temptations (Sulphur) — 1 ct. prostitution, 4 cts. CDS (drugs), 3 cts. lewd acts
-Club Vixens (Lake Charles) — 1 ct. prostitution, 4 cts. CDS (drugs), 3 cts. lewd acts, 1 ct. unreported mgr.
-Club Cabaret (West Lake) — 2 cts. prostitution, 3 cts. CDS (drugs), 7 cts. lewd acts
-Real Entertainers (Baton Rouge) — 1 ct. prostitution
-Tipsy Tiger 2 (Plaquemine) — 1 ct. prostitution
-Michael’s (Broussard) — 1 ct. prostitution, 1 ct. lewd acts
-Shelly’s (Houma) — 3 cts. prostitution (2nd offense), 4 cts. lewd acts (2nd offense), 1 ct. unreported mgr (2nd offense)
-The Onyx Lounge (Monroe) — 4 cts. lewd acts
-Sports Club (Alexandria) — 1 ct. lewd acts
-Judy’s Lounge (Morgan City) — 5 cts. prostitution, 3 cts. CDS (drugs), 11 cts. lewd acts
-Double Deez (Morgan City) — 1 ct. prostitution, 2 cts. CDS (drugs)
-Temptations (Morgan City) — 2 cts. prostitution, 2 cts. CDS (drugs), 4 cts. lewd acts
-Crazy Horse Cabaret (Port Allen) — 1 ct. prostitution

The businesses cited will be scheduled for administrative hearings in the coming weeks.

18 clubs that were investigated during this phase of the operation were commended by the ATC for having zero violations. On this list is the Gold Club in Baton Rouge, Kittens Gentlemen’s Club in Prairieville and Geismar’s Crazy Horse Cabaret Too.
